Check your protection rule (DMARC checker)
Your protection rule tells inboxes what to do with email that fails the other checks: let it in, send it to spam, or turn it away. Type your website's name and we'll check it. Free, no sign-up.
We read settings anyone on the internet can see. We change nothing.
The check covers all your email settings, not just this one.
What it is
Protection rule (DMARC). Tells inboxes what to do with email that fails, and where to send reports about it.
Why it matters
Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft now expect one from anyone who sends a lot of email. Without one, fakes in your name are much more likely to get through.
Problems we look for
- Nothing stops people from faking your email
- Your main domain's protection rule covers this one
- Your main domain's rule only covers some fake email here
- Your main domain's rule doesn't block fake email here
- You have two protection rules, so neither works
- Inboxes aren't told to block fake email using your name
- Nobody tells you when someone fakes your email
- Your protection rule only covers some of your email
- Parts of your domain are less protected
- Your protection rule has a typo
- Your reports aren't coming to us yet
- Some of your reports will never be sent
